By plane

Bayonne Anglet Biarritz International Airport

The Biarritz – Anglet – Bayonne Airport (BIQ) can be reached through many cities in Europe (Brussels, Rotterdam, Paris, London, Stockholm, Geneva, Dublin, Manchester and many other french cities).

For your information, there are some EasyJet flights between Paris (CDG) and Biarritz (BIQ).

From the airport, you can get to the town center of Hendaye in about 25 minutes by car. Also, you can get there using Chronoplus line C (1€ one way): There is a bus every 30 minutes. The journey time between the airport and Hendaye is about 35 minutes. For more information, please consult the Chronoplus urban transport network website. 

San Sebastian Airport (in Hondarribia)

The airport is just 10 minutes by car from Hendaye (on the N.1).

Hendaye Stop

  • Several high speed trains leave Paris Montparnasse every day. Hendaye is only 5 hours from Paris.
  • Major routes : Paris- Geneva - Vintimille - Hendaye

Taxis and bus will be able to take you wherever you want in the town.

By car

You can reach Hendaye on the north-south A63 motorway.

For a breathtaking view of the Basque Coast, take exit 2 signposted to Hendaye Plage (Hendaye beach).

If you need to go direct to the centre of town, choose exit 1, just before the Spanish border.

Motorways A63 and A64 will take you from Hendaye to places such as Bordeaux or Toulouse in just a couple of hours.
And because Hendaye is right on the border with Spain, you can easily take the motorway to San Sebastian, Bilbao or even Pamplona.
