We invite proposals for Special Tracks for the MEDES Conference. Accepted Special Tracks will take place during the main conference.
The Special Tracks should focus on current or emerging topics of broad interest to MEDES series.
They should allow members of the community to compare and discuss approaches, methods, and new concepts on research topics pertinent to the main conference.
Interdisciplinary topics that bring new perspectives to the research community are of particular interest. Special tracks are intended to be genuine interactive events and not mini-conferences.
The organizers of successful Special Tracks will be responsible for their own reviewing process, publicity (e.g., website and call for papers).
Special Track proposals for MEDES should include:
- The title and brief technical description of the special track, specifying its goals and motivation.
- A brief discussion of why the topic is of particular interest at this time.
- A brief description of why and to whom the track is of interest, the special track audience, as well as the expected number of participants.
- A list of (potential) members of the program committee (at least 50% have to be known and confirmed at the time of the proposal).
